Fished from 7am to 3:30pm at Vernita Bridge on the Columbia River. The water was moving pretty quickly and dropping all day. The weather was partially rainy and overcast all day. We fished with divers and spinng corks with eggs for bait. We had our first fish at 7:30am, it was a nice 7-8 lb Chinook. We then landed another Chinook on the same gear around 10am. This time it was a larger 10-13lb. We then had a bit of a lull in catching Chinooks but caught 3 Squaw fish. We then finished off the day with another nice 8-10lb Chinook and another Smaller Jack. All in all a great day out on the water. We fished and caught all of our fish closer to the Vernita Bridge and trolling letting the river drift us North.
