I heard the silvers are running through the Skykomish right now. I've never been there before so I decided to scout out a spot for after the storm passed. I stopped at Skykomish River Centennial Park and found some river access sites. The first spot I checked out was difficult because of the fast current. Then I found a little spot where there was a nice pool with numerous humpies jumping around. I threw in my line and hooked up right away. I ended up catching around 8. I took two hens home, but they are pretty close to releasing their eggs and the meat was pale. I don't think this spot will be good for future fishing because the river was much higher due to the storm, so the spot will probably not exist after the river drops.
