I showed up to the lake at around 11:00am. I had never fished the lake before so I had no idea where to go. I started out trolling and tried different presentations and snagged a lot of foliage, but no fish. The lake it only 10 feet deep almost all the way around. There was one spot where the lake went to 15 feet down by the park and public fishing pier on the lake. I fished there for about an hour with power bait and caught one cut throat about 10 inches and missed on bite. That was it for the day. About three hours total on the lake and not much action. My opinion is leave your boat at home unless you are going for bass. The opposite end of the lake as the park has a lot of lily pads and I hear the bass hang out there.
