Fished Sammamish today for for bass. I didn't see or catch any fish, but that doesn't mean much because this was my first time here and I don't how to fish this lake. However, couple of bass boats working the NE pilings didn't appear to catch anything either. I also tried the dollar pads and lily pads on the S end near the boat launch with a spinnerbait, even though I think the water there is too shallow to hold fish on a windy day like today. Boat handling is a challenge when the wind kicks up on this big lake. If you want to fish this lake arrive early; the parking area at the launch was nearly full when I knocked off at noon, even though today is a Wednesday.
