Got to the river around 7 and fish the hole hard. Later a few guys walked down and one had a chrome steelhead that they caught up by the hatchery. Later we moved down but all that was lurking was boot cohos. So we moved back up to the hole and 2nd cast my cleardrift dissapeared, fish on! At first I thought I had my first steelhead but nope just a coho but in decent shape. I told my unlce to come up from the rapids to fish the hole and he took2 casts with my jigs I recently tied up and he hooked and decent coho too. Later I hooked around 5 cohos on both jigs and beads. Right when I started leave and flash of chrome rolled in the hole,ugh next time ill get you steelhead. What a fun day with barely anyone on the river. Still on my quest for a steelhead.
