Well I keep hearing rumors that a chain link fence got thrown in the water down stream of Mounts bridge last weekend to try to make fishing difficult. Not sure if the rumor is true, but a lot of people have been talking about it and getting hung up right through there. It seems like you get hung up about every tenth cast. I think everyone I saw lost at least three rigs while I was there. I fished today at Mounts bridge and saw no fish and saw no one catch anything. I did see three sea lions come through and head up to the bridge and come back down. My buddy saw two just below the bridge around 6pm. I saw the 3 around 1pm. Not a lot coming through right now. Looks like next weekend or after a big rain things should heat up. I heard the indians got a grand total of two in nets at the check station the past three days. Lots of mosquitos around as well.

I've heard the same thing, however I don't think that's in the character of the person being accused. That river is just as snaggy mess, always has been and always will be! Good luck !

I haven't heard of anyone being accused of it. It would seem that if there was a fence in the river people would get hung up more though. I guess it is a good topic of conversation on slow no fish days, lol.
