After today's outing, I'm considering a name change--Jack. That's because of what I keep catching!

Anyhow, I fished the prison hole on the Sky briefly--not much happening there. Moved up to Al Borlin, where there were plenty of silvers rolling tantalizing you much like the sirens from Greek mythology. Threw nearly everything I had at them, only with one solid hit that didn't take.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but probably should've arrived at first light. Any pointers fellow WA-laker's? I rated today a "2" due to the amazing weather (wish I could've stayed out the whole day) and the company! I gotta say every WA Lakes member I've met out on the water are great, and I always appreciate the advice and conversation with y'all.

Tight lines & heavy nets!

Don't think you are doing anything wrong.
That has been the pattern so far in the puke and Duwi.
Jacks first few weeks and then the fish just start getting bigger and bigger.
I caught a 12 pounder on Sat. Big ones are comin!

I've been doing very well twitching a small black/purple or black/red jig. Biggest thing is you have to fish the bottom. If you don't snag up every once in awhile you're not fishing the bottom. Best advice I can give. Good luck.

I doubt your doing anything really wrong - you just need to hang in there. Getting there at first light would be the only thing I'd advise.
