Got to the river early today, in hopes that the morning bite was going to be on. Not much luck, as I threw all of the hardware I had at ‘um. I worked up and down the river all morning, saw a few boats pulling in fish, so I thought I’d hang out and keep trying my luck. I moved down river and hooked into a jumper, who must not have liked the taste of my jig, because she spit it right back at me. I continued to work up and down the shore, and after what seemed like 100 casts, I had one on.
9# Hatchery Buck on a Brads Wiggler. After that one fish, I called it quits. Not a bad day on the water. I’ll try it again next weekend. Sorry all no pics of this one.
