Hit the river early this morning with my buddy visiting from Montana St. Started out slow but after trying a couple spots along the river we finally hooked into some fish mid-day. First bobber down came from a dink silver that didn't put up too much of a fight. The real fun began after finding a stretch where all the chums were hanging out and after landing a few of them decided to call it a day. Weather definitely turned out for the best and left us with a fun day of fishing!!

All fish were C&R

Nice! Thx for sharing. I spent a couple of hours before noon at North Green River Park and it was dead. Saw only one roller. Judging by the pics looks like I should've been fishing farther upstream.

Good to see you got into fish, I passed by you guys on the river in a boat when you were just getting started. We released fish all day long too, all were looking about the same shape. While we tried to keep them in the water and not hold them around the gill plates sometimes that special photo is too good to pass up! We kept a few at the end of the day to put in the Garden for growing big fat zuchinnis! Imagine if you could use Chum to feed cows for better milk, that would be utterly amazing!!! get it, get it!

Yeah it took us awhile to find some good holding water and get our presentation down but once that happened it was golden! Lots of people out on their boats Sunday. Can't imagine how well you guys must have done with all that water to fish!

I know it's not a popular rule but when we find them we are taking down photos of salmon and steelhead out of the water that were not kept (when legal to do so). Please don't include these photos in your fishing reports. If you're unhappy with the rule contact WDFW.
