Had a great day! Went out fishing this afternoon with my dad and once the ordeal of getting to our spot was done we found some fish. Started off with a couple fish right away but then it died down a bit. Switched spots a half hour later and found a great seam full of fish. All in all had about 8 hookups on the day and landed 5. Love having such a fun fishery so close to home.

Metzler Park area. They tend to hug the shore and floating a bobber down river close to the bank has been the ticket

Wow! Seems like you've got these chum locked in. In the last couple of years I seem to only catch them when I'm not targeting them (i.e. drifting corky and yarn for coho). I haven't been successful getting a take down with jig and float.

How long is your leader? Any particular jig producing more for you? Thanks and appreciate the report!

Pink jig with either shrimp or some scent on it. Typically 3 feet of leader from the swivel fixed under my bobber

denhambruce, appreciated your comment. Was out of town and just got back. Sorry for the late reply. I was at the Auburn Golf Course around mid morning today, really slow, windy, and cold. Saw a guy fished for about no more than :10 minutes and wham, fish on. It had his line going up then down river a few times then he finally landed this huge Silver still bright chrome color. This thing was at least 17 lbs. plus.
