12/23/2014 5:36:00 PMBeautiful fish! Seal was likely killing the steelhead bite. I saw a couple monster seal way up the Green River in September and they were having their fill on the few Coho along that stretch.

I was there earlier in the year and saw quite a few trout jumping at first light. I targeted them with eggs and worms, but no avail. You caught your dolly on a fly? Curious what color and what your approach was. Please advise. Thanks.

12/25/2014 4:43:00 PMYes I caught it on a fly, a size 2 black intruder with blue lines and a silver body. A slow retraction while keeping the fly "alive" seems to work. Still going for the Steelhead and are looking for suggestions to places and fly patterns.
