My coworker took me to a spot where he has been catching a lot of fish after I told him about my bad day on the Duwamish. We got there early around 4:30am, but there were already people there fishing. My friend told them they weren't suppose to be fishing until 5:15am, but they didn't care. We waited on the shore until 5:15am before we started fishing. I have never drift fished before, so it took a while for me to learn what to do. People around us were getting a lot of bites because they were jerking their rods a lot. I hooked some fish as I was reeling in, but did not feel any nibbles. I got my limit of pinks, but my friend didn't keep any. He told me they didn't taste very good. He kept a fish called a Coho that he said tasted very good. Overall, I find this drift fishing easier than twerking jigs.

Nice fish twerker! LOL Glad to have you on the forum. I have given up on pinks too, sent a lot of bad smoked salmon to relatives for Christmas this last year... Let us know what you thought of your pinks!

Thanks. I thought it tasted pretty good. Better than the smoked dog salmon I had in Alaska. I bought a smoker and attempted my first batch of smoked salmon strips. I'll post a picture with my fishing report from tomorrow.

Just a friendly FYI it's twitching jigs not twerking jigs those are two completely different things. Tight lines.
