8/24/2015 11:31:00 AMThe reason why only four were hooked in the mouth out of 30 is because of the 12 fort leader. Long leader = snagging. Stick with 3-4.5 feet of leader you'll hook every fish in the mouth and you'll actually have a shot at hooking cohos and kings. Tight lines and dry waders.

8/27/2015 8:26:00 AMsnagging intentionally is right up there with animal abuse but i dont think thats the case here. i realize you were most likely incidentally snagging them with the false idea that you need a 12' leader, but dont you think them fish deserve to be handled a little better? if i snag more than 1 fish on accident, i change my method to sonething less snaggy, its the ethical thing to do. use a 2'-5' leader, and your snag ratio will go WAY down, and your correct ratio will probably stay the same, but you wont be harming the fish either and still catch your limit. try usung scent to up your catch rate instead.
