I did decent on the Stilly last Friday going 3/3 in 45 min with pinks on a 50/50 dicknite, releasing them all. Based on what i read last week haverman83 is using standard float rig with a bobber and 4 or 5 ft of liter down to his jig, basic steelhead set up, which i might have to give a shot. 2 years ago i did very well using small green corkies for coho starting in early Oct. Tight lines!

Yes I am using that exact setup but today I tried a orange and pink and a plain pink and pink and white jig they are all 1/16 punch or if wind picks up or faster current I go to a 1/8 ounce jig all my jigs are made by aero jig today I caught 40 pinks and lost 1 silver but I was also there from 9 to 230

I've jigged for Crappie under a float, but never for salmon. Are you doing anything other than casting, letting the bobber float downstream, then real in and rinse/repeat, or are you actually giving the bobber a few pulls along the way to mimic the jigging action?
