Had some buddies already out in the morning. Heard they were doing well so I took the girlfriend out for the later afternoon/evening bite and it paid off. She hooked and landed her first salmon ever. Very proud of her but that was all she got. I hooked close to 20 humpies and lost 5 of those so a 15/20 day ill take it. Bobber and pink jig is still kicking these fish's butts. We don't use anything else. Have also seen a few Coho jumping and one was seen caught. THEYRE COMING.....

What area of river do you bobber fish? I bobber fished for the first time for coho a couple weeks ago and that was a blast, but that was on a beach in the sound. What size bobber/weight do you use when fishing the river and how deep are you? Are you bouncing it along the bottom? Thanks in advance! Just trying to learn a new technique to fish the river.
