Dang! I've just got fish kryptonite or something! We got there just before sunrise and put in. I have small boat with an electric motor, so we can't zip around anywhere...we putt slowly! We trolled upstream against the current & tide on full speed until we got just past French creek - then the current bested me and I couldn't go any further. We were about a mile shy of Thomas Eddy, so if I want to fish there, I'll have to hike in.

We pulled plugs all the way until we turned around, then drifted eggs and casted dick nite spoons until we got back. No fish seen or caught again.

The saving grace was that the sunrise was hard to beat

Where are they ? Still in the Sound, or is the coho party over for the year? :

That was a beautiful sunrise this morning. Nice pics. Found fish up at Thomas Eddy, but not a lot of willing biters.

They just aren't here yet. There are a lot, but the main run is late I'm thinking. I see it is picking up at Sekiu and they have to go by there first before we get our chance. Patients! Now go catch one.
