10/10/2015 7:01:00 AMLOL. DJ it is why I like having a boat. However, boaters will sometimes get ornery too if the bite is off. What i do like is being able to fish holes and runs which most don't get to visit - not that I'm so good I catch a lot of fish.
I've got a knee which is going to be replaced this November. I can't wade the rivers anymore. I miss not being able to fish the upper Sky. As nice as a boat is, I felt more connected to nature when wading.

10/10/2015 9:14:00 AMI nearly drifted inside a boat that moved too close yesterday. Too tempting for the guy as the fish were jumping all over this one spot.

10/10/2015 10:02:00 AMThank you for the report dj, I assumed horrible crowding was going to happen seeing as every time someone catches a fish lately has people yelling thomas eddy from the rooftops. Time to fish elsewhere regardless of the results, at least for me thats the case.

10/10/2015 11:27:00 AMlast week when I was on the carbon, I was the only guy in the hole and some one walks right up and tries to bump me out of the spot. That makes me so mad. I think when traffic is light on the river the hole is yours and people should find their own spot. He never even looked over at me, just came in casting. That's river fishing some times though. Nice fish.
