Arrived at about 10 am to put the Sevylor Fish Hunter in the water for some trolling and maybe some bass fishing, but right as I was loading the boat up, I noticed a nice big hole in the seam of the boat. I was very disapointed, especially since it was pumped up and used 3 times before. Me and my friend decided to resort to the pier and Powerbait, and we had our lines in the water at 10:30 after we had to pack up all the boat gear. I had a rainbow on before my weight hit the bottom. Me and my friend caught 4 more, for a total of 5 trout. That's all we need anyways to make a tasty dinner and conserve some fish for next time. The fish were about 10 inches, more or less. We used Green Power eggs most of the time, and so was everyone else. Green was the color. Green Powerbait worked for us too, as well as a red marshmallow. We were putting scents on our baits too, worm oil, anise oil, and Powerbait Trout flavored scent. Lots of other people had some bottles of scent too. The pier had about 20 people on it, and several boats working the lake too. Some people were leaving with a limit, but they said that they were there for a while. We stayed 2 hours and caught five rainbows between the two of us. One guy had a Brown Trout that ran about 17 inches. Great atmosphere on the dock, and good luck!
