These 2 lakes, 1 is about 1.5 acre the other one acre consistently produce nice 10 to 16 inch FAT Bullheads, along with thousands of panfish that you can drop in a worm and within 3 seconds have a fish on. The small lake feeds a tiny stream into the bigger lake. These lakes are shallow, bottoming at 6 feet. Both lakes hold bass, the bigger has more bass. They both have bullhead catfish and panfish, and the big lake has a few huge carp. I saw a few rolling every once and awhile. The big lake is hard to fish because of the weeds and cattails, but the small lake is open and can be fished from any angle and has way more catfish and bluegill. I go to the small lake with the rock bulkhead for 2 hours with a bobber and 5 feet down a worm on a size four hook and get about 15 to 20, averaging 12 inches. The bluegill are about 3 inches, some getting to 7, and bass are rare. I caught a 4lb turtle and released it. The bass and carp aren't worth fishing for, but I saw a guy with a cooler full of 1 to 2lb bass that he was going to put into his lake. Worms are the key. Throw out a bobber with a small weight into the middle of the small lake with worm and wait for the feisty bullhead catfish to inhale the worm. Catch and Release, this lake has the dirtiest water, you can't see more than 6 inches down. Worms will get you all the fish their. This lake is absolutely perfect for kids since the action is nonstop. Tight lines!!
