I fish a small creek near Snohomish. It is a very small and shallow stream. I fish it with mainly roostertails and flies. I catch small rainbow trout, about 5-6". But once in a while I catch a larger one like a 13" if lucky. The biggest one ever caught was a 20 lb. Steelhead that was spawning. My friend hooked it by accident while fishing a rapala and it took about 15 min to get in. It was awesome! We released it in hopes of that it's offspring will come back for another battle. The creek is on my friends farm but I don't think he would mind you stopping in for a cast or two.
