I can fish in my pond whenever I want too. It is stocked with cutthroatt, bows, Brown trout, coho and other salmon and steelhead. There is a salmon stream nearby so I dug a trench from it, and now it drains into my pond and brings steelhead and salmon. I design a gate that allows salmon and trout to come in but not go out. They spawn in my pond instead of stream now, I set up a gravel area for them. The fish in my pond grow to monster sizes. I caught a 26 pound steelhead and a 10 pound rainbow 2 weeks ago. The salmon get to about 40 pounds before they spawn and die. My pond is about 2 acres and about 20 feet deep. The reason they get so big is because I overfeed them. I feed them feeder fish and once in a while some rats for my big browns. They swallow the mice. It is awesome they way the leap out and grab the rats. I just wanted too tell you all in case you would be interested in paying to fish at my place. It is $100 an hour, but you will be amazed by how great the fishing is!
