12/23/2011 10:11:00 AMThe Grays River can be a real sleeper. Its one of those rivers that sits in the middle of a bunch of other popular rivers, and doesn't get that much pressure. Three years ago a friend and I caught and released 17 steelhead in one day out of only two drifts, and never saw another fisherman the whole time. Very memorable.

12/23/2011 6:39:00 PMThe high tide brought in a school of about 20 that sat right in front of us. Those were the picky ones. We couldn't get any of those to bite. My cousin used to live on the Grays and we would fish all the rivers around there. It is nice to be back out that way again.

12/23/2011 7:41:00 PMThat would be maddening Pro...makes you want to just jump in and get them. Those really are some beautiful fish. Loved heading there for the feb/march push that would bring those huge brites with my dad.
