Went out today with Lyndon and tried our luck for Sturgeon. Decided to try an old shad I had saved for the last past year and use it as bait. Within a few minutes, Lyndon had caught his first Sturgeon, only a dink but it was still cool. Then about an hour later he caught a second Sturgeon about a foot or 2 short of being a keeper. We fished for about 4 hours and then called it a day. I had no success, but had lots of fun watching Lyndon catch some fish. I'll be back out again soon.

Okay, explain what the park is called because there are no signs. Plus where is the Cemetary? I have never seen any graves.

The spot zbo is talking about is accessed by going south on 164th under Highway 14 and the road curves around to the left and there is a cemetery on the right. Turn right there and the next street on the left is 164th. Turn left and go down past the railroad tracks. The road dead-ends and there is a sign welcoming you to your park. It does not say what park it is, but you are welcome to it.
When I tried to find out what the park is called I found this map:

http://www.cityofvancouver.us/parks-recreation/parks_trails/planning/pdf/compplanmaps.pdf

It appears to be called “164th Avenue Shoreline.”

There is a small stream coming out of a culvert and next to that is another limited space. I have a hard time casting there because there is just no space, but maybe there is more access that I have not found. The only thing I have caught there is a bullhead, but I have only been there one time and only had about an hour to fish.

are u sure it was a bullhead and not a Sculpin? Sculpin look somewhat like a baby cod but also look like a bullhead. Plus that is the spot I have been fishing. It is actually very nice and they are a few spots to fish, if you follow a path to the right, passed a tennis court.

Thanks for the tip. I thought that was all there was there for fishing spots. I will try and find that path.
I am not sure of the id on the creature I caught...ugly bugger for sure!
