Fishing for Rainbows was the best I've seen in the five years that
I have fished Lake Roosevelt. 13 to 15 inchers.
Heard of one 18 1/2.Trolled Muddler fly on 30 ft. of leader
and four colors of leaded line. Fished just below Keller Ferry in about 50
to 80 feet of water along the south shore from the irrigation pipe down to
the small bay past the big tree. Also caught fish in the San Poil. Troll
slowly. Fished with my Dad and had two fish on at the same time several
times. No Silvers seen or heard of. Also caught several smallmouth Bass.
Caught two "Bows" from the bank by the marina when the wind drove us off the
lake Thursday. Limited out four days in a row, sometimes in only two hours.
