Fished hawk creek looking for a few eyes, but with no luck. Did manage a 18" Chinook which made for a great shore lunch. The fish still seemed to be stacked in the mouth we just couldn't get them to bite. Tossed jigs, cranks and a lot of drop shotting. I think all the sunshine had a little to do with, but I am not complaining. The dog loved getting out for the day.

Is that a Chinook or a Kokanee? Nice fish!

I am starting to think it was a kok after doing my research a little more. The mouth and jaw line was black, which had me confused. I am not much of a slimer fisher unless it is steelhead
