4/19/2010 8:41:00 PMmav, were you marking any schools of them on the sonar? Planning on trying it myself later this week, but your report is not too encouraging. Did you try anything deeper than long lining?

4/20/2010 6:04:00 AMHey Crusty: I had marked several schools that day...periodically. The ones I marked were out over deeper waters. In my experience, this has NOT been a typical year for me and the silvers. I talked to a few guys on Wed the 14th and they had caught a couple of fish each...but it took them most of the day. It got worse from there into the weekend. Good luck and have fun!

4/20/2010 10:02:00 AMTough break Steve, but at least your weekend wasn't a bust with the RW fish. We're meeting up with some folks from the west side 4/30 and 5/1, so I hope things pick up a bit by then. I have no luck on Roosevelt silvers, at least not yet. I need to dedicate more time to fishing for them I suppose. Thanks for the report.
