Well we went fishing on the 22nd and the 23rd after I got off work each day. The weather was good if not a bit hot. Where we decided to try was new for us. We put in at the Dam at the Cresent Bay launch at went up around the Keller Ferry area. We hadn't fish there ever but our normal spots on Banks and Roosevlt have been slow for Walleye. Or in the case of banks just mainly undersize fish. So as we wanted some Walleye we went up river to give it a try and that turned out great for us. In two days we brought home 18 walleyes between 15 inches and 23 inches. Also 1-14.5 and 1-13 incher both took hooks deep. We realsed several others, most being in the 12 to 14 inch range. the smallest caught was about 11 inches. The wife caught the biggest each day with the first days being 23 inches and the second days being 20 inches. We also caught a few bass, all were released. Actually surprised that we didn't catch more bass. That is our normal way. We fished about 3 hours each day. We also caught several lures and worm harness and bottom walkers others had lost. It's about a half hour ride up there from the dam but its turning out to be a good trip. As we're starting to fish for the kok's and trout in Roosevelt we'll be going up that way some more. Any tips for those two fish or for any fish for the matter would be greatly appreciated. We used our own home made worm harnesses. No one color was the best. We used green-yellow to a blue-pink-white combo to straight red or orange. even a rainbow of color caught them fairly well.

Hows the San Poil for Walleye.I hear the tribe rasied the limits for them and bass. Is it worth the permit to fish it? Like I said any info is helpful. Thanks. No photos at this time if I ccan figure out how to add them later I will.
