After fishing Rufus for the morning we dropped down to Pateros and fished the "Rocks" for Steelhead. The water was way low with almost now movement. We couldn't get bit in the usual areas, so we moved into deeper water and connected with a couple of wild fish and a hatchery hen that put on a great show of jumping. The productive water in this "froggy" looking stuff was around 30 feet deep with us hanging jigs from 22 to 27 feet deep.

Worden's new Maxi-Jigs are great. Those egg fluorescent was the hot pattern. We baited the jigs with Wal-Mart shrimp with Pautzke's Fire Cure sprinkled on it.
