put in at fort spokane at about 730 and fished until about 4 With AJ's Dad and the future father in law. Jigged with white and chartreuse skirts with worms/also used gulp leeches and minnows. We ended up boating 7 walleyes and a burbot with 3 of them being dinks and the others 15-19 inch range. The burbot was caught by AJ's Dad as he was the one who spotted it drifting by. The boat next to us was fishing deeper water caught and released the fish then left as we were drifting by we spotted the fish still alive floating belly up. It was the first burbot I have seen since they are not native to the Wisconsin area. All and all it was a nice day on the water and not to bad for the second time fishing the area.

Did you by any chance find that burbot near casino flats? If so I was the one who caught it out of my buddies Thunder Jet, the blue and silver one, on a blade bait. We boated about 15 total eyes, most were dinks. We did end up keeping six, one 24incher, one 21in, two 19in and two 16inchers. All but one were caught in 50-60 ft of water. We didn't expect them to still be that deep, so we spent a lot of time in shallower water. We were all over the river. Started there at casino, went up to outhouse, then up the arm by both islands and finally near McCoys. Jigs and blade baits both produced. I plan on having my boat out this friday, a crestliner, and will probably launch out of Porcupine. By the way I am also from Wisconsin, grew up in Milwaukee

Never stops amazing me how many of us cheese heads came out to the inland northwest. Good job on the eyes, I'm thinking about heading out there soon, the run is probably over if it's anything like back in WI but guys say the summer months can be good at the fort. Keep it up.
