6/6/2012 8:57:00 PMtoo cold with all the cold rain the past couple days. The water temp has fallen 7 to 8 degrees since Sun. The fish are deep, or way back in cover, or under docks VERY lathargic. Ya have to let a plastics sit there for half a minute to half an hour under this condition.

6/7/2012 12:01:00 AMLip_AmX called it perfectly. The cold runoff with cool weather + a poor lunar moon rating for the day makes for a tough outing to catch lethargic smallmouth bass who are waiting for things to warm up a bit. Jiggy

6/8/2012 9:46:00 PMThank you guys. I'm just getting into bass fishing and I went about it all wrong. There is plenty more for me to learn now. I bet I won't make that mistake too many more time. I need to start checking weather (past, present, and future) and water temp. But hell...I still don't know exactly when those bass get shallow. I was under the impression they were deep considering its post-spawn(I think) now.
