Headed out of Ft Spokane south. Tried the far side and did nothing. Came back to the East side in about 40' of water. Tried a Frisky Jenny, Lenny Special and hooked up within 5 minutes. I was long lining at about 200'. Caught an 18" rainbow. Went back out again and got another hook-up in about 30 minutes. Must have screwed up my knot because my line broke right at the jig. Put on a Custom Angler Maverick, (haven't been able to get one of these in months from W.E. but found them on E-Bay from a place here in Spokane. Just type in custom angler and look for skipper blue sea.) Hooked up again just before noon. 20" 3.9# beauty.

No Pictures today. Batteries in the camera were so cold, the lens wouldn't come out. Next time, I'll put the camera in my jacket.

Fished a little while longer but it was so cold, it wasn't getting any funner, so I called it a day. Will be back out as soon as I can wrangle another kitchen pass from SWAMBO.
