After three weeks of waiting for new transducers and respooling down riggers. I finally made it out to the water. Morning started out great no wind, river was like glass great way to get back out on the river. Started out for walleye trying some new tricks i got from Walleye Willie and columbia guide service. Had a few good take down was not able to get them to the boat. At 11:00 headed to the lucky sturgeon spot. We had several good bites only got one to take the bait which was squid, the herring and special mix not so good. Only a small shaker I guess thats why they call it fishing and not catching. Hope to have better luck when the water warms up. Would like any info about Chelan. I would like to try the new downrigger cable before salmon takes off. Good luck all!
