Put in at Porc Bay and it took about 2 minutes to see that the fishing would be rough in that chocolate milk water. Moved out past Fort Spokane where the water looked quite a bit more fishable and found a few more boats giving it their best. Nobody having any success and saw only 2 walleye caught in 3 hours. Spoke with a couple trout chasers with the same results. Oh well - next trip......

Hi Dan - Is that why they call it fishin'? I personally would rather be "catchin" but that is not always the case.

dharris - I was out there on Saturday as well in my buddy Glenn's Lund and it was indeed tough fishing. A friend of ours and his dad were the only ones we saw all day catch any eyes (2) and that was at outhouse flats. The only fish we caught all day was a burbot I landed at outhouse as well. We were up and down the main river as well as up the arm to McCoys, clear water or chocolate water didn't seem to matter. Hopefully the Arm clears up this week.

Huge volumes of water are coming over Nine Mile Falls Dam but the water looks pretty good. The arm should get better as Long lake flushes out.
