Had a couple of hours to fish so I headed to Lake Roosevelt (Hunters Shoreline South of net pens) to check the launch ramp, soak a worm or two and enjoy the day. Arrived at 2pm, two other groups of anglers there - did not see them land any fish while I was there.
Picked up only one bow at just over 16" but fat at 1 1/4 lbs. saw many ducks, geese but no Bald Eagles. Short day fishing but a good day to be outside. Left the site at 4:15.
Side note: water level still quite low and the shoreline where I was fishing is very slippery due to the mud you have to traverse to get to the water. Be careful.
Only one boat put in at the Hunters Ramp. WDFW made a pass thru the area. No license checks that I could see.

Good to see a report from you grizz. A nice day out fishing is hard to beat, wildlife viewing, and a healthy 'bow for dinner a bonus! Word floating around is drawdown will reach 1255' or so, but I don't know the target date. Makes 1270' seem high in comparison. Thanks for sharing you report and pic. :-)

I was there a couple weeks ago and WDFW was checking all bank fisherman licenses. Kirsch, young guy, really nice guy. Anyway I think licenses expire March 1st don't get caught without a new one.

Washington State Licenses run from March 31 to April 1 of a calendar year, I was out with my brother last weekend at Hunters (bank) North of launch, we only brought in 3 and lost a few the bites seem to be getting soft, not sure if this is due to level of water being reduced?
