Two of my boys and I went fishing today and did OK. Lines in the water by 7:15. Swawilla Basin is where we started and it was a bit slow but were done at noon. Riggers corn pink hootchie and pink apex. 50 to 70' is where we caught them. All kok's were 15 to 161/2 " but fat as pigs. Apex seem to be the hot one at the end and when we found the school it didn't take long.

What a nice batch of kokanee Widebear, thanks for another great report. Great way to spend Father's Day too! I'm tempted to run up Wednesday if my fishing buddy is available. Are you using dodgers in front of the Apex and hootchies or trolling without? Successfully fishing for Roosevelt kokes is an area I really need to work on, so any tips you care to share are much appreciated. ;-)

Thanks for the report. Hewesfisher is right, consistently catching Kokes on Roosevelt is something many of us aspire to. Great job out there. Looks like a pretty good size Rainbow in the picture too!
