Launched at Keller and headed down. Fished a couple spots down there with only landing 2 fish. Headed up the lake above the launch and fished a few more spots and finally found a spot where there were a few fish. We stayed there for a couple hours and managed to land 5 more. We finished the day with a total of 7 trout and 0 kokanee.
The lake was really calm which could have made the bite even slower. It seemed that trolling slower than usual was better. Trolling speed was 1.4 to 1.6 mph. we were trolling dodgers and a variety of flies. Orange flies seemed to be working the best. Flies were baited with corn. the water temp was 38.4*. Hopefully the fishing will be better next time! Tight lines.
