It was a beautiful Spring day, ambient temperature was around 48 in the early morning when I arrived and steadily increased to about 62 in the afternoon. Wind was light and held steady at about 5 mph with occasional gusts of around 20 mph increasing in frequency as the afternoon progressed. Spent approx. (7) hours on the water.

Attempted multiple lures, rods, line, and techniques with zero success. Primarily fished from a kayak on the far edges of the lake along with in the back area filled with tree stumps. Spent the last hour on the bank near the stream inlet as a last attempt after the wind picked up and made fishing from the kayak unpleasant.

Lures Used:
1. Kastmaster Spoons 1/4 oz.
Colors - Silver/Blue
2. Kastmaster Spoons 1/8 oz.
Colors - Gold, Firetiger
3. Rooster Tail Spinners 1/8 oz.
Colors: Chartreuse, Fire Tiger, White
4. Panther Martin Spinners
Colors: Holographic Rainbow Trout, Spotted Yellow
5. Trout Magnets
Colors: White, Brown, Black, Pink, Gold Speckle

Rods Used:
1. Light Action 6'6 Ugly Stik GX2
Line - 2# Trilene XT
2. Medium Action 6'6 Ugly Stik Elite
Line - 8# Trilene XT

Bait Used:
1. None, this lake has selective gear rules.

Fished all spoons and spinners with the 8# line (4# leader) and medium action rod with various retrieval techniques, not even a nibble. Fished all of my trusty Trout Magnets with the 2# line and light action rod vertically with a slow twitching retrieve that has never failed before, not even a nibble.

Got skunked hard on this outing probably won't waste time at this lake again, but I wasn't the only one. I didn't see a single person catch anything besides some bottom vegetation in the 7+ hours spent there. I believe the WDFW is full of *you know what* since there is no way that 3,000 Rainbows were stocked in this lake!

Sounds like you threw the tackle box at them! :) I fished there last week from my kayak. I marked several big fish down 15 to 20 feet. Couldn't get them to respond pulling lead core line. I trolled a small Needlefish spoon just under the surface and picked up 2. Really small fish. We saw several jumping while we were there. I tossed on a green wooly bugger fly and pulled that along the surface trolling and picked up three more.
