Fishin'Winterfell
7/17/2017 10:03:14 AMDude I fished that stretch last weekend! I got my ginger skin fried all afternoon, trying to get the Smallies and pearch to play at the rip rap stretch near Long lake Dam. I decided to put the bass gear in the truck, have a beer, and then started walking the bank with my light gear. The Trout bite from shore was amazing in the evening fishing undercuts and eddies. More than 10 fish in an hour! Caught some healthy planters and what I believed to be some native trout (correct me if wrong). No pics as I left the phone in the truck too. Does anyone know if the native red band are maintaining a population in that stretch? Does the ladder work at Little falls Dam?
