7/12/2017 7:14:36 PMYeah, I marked a bunch of fish on the Northeast part of the lake also. Picked up two cutts at 42 feet with a DR, but both 12 inches, so let them go. Saw lots of fish in some areas, so we just parked it and jigged in the middle of them. Using the sonar, I put it right in them. A peamouth immediately, so we left and went into shore. Picked up my biggest cut ever just off some docks in 20 fow. Quite the fighter with good aerials. Also some bass and of course perch. If you want perch, just go to about 15 to 20 feet and when you see a school, just throw small jigs such as trout magnet or a piece of worm. Take lots -please! Tasty, but too many. I would say a rainbow also.

7/13/2017 10:35:00 AM The book "Inland Fishes of Washington" by Wydoski and Whitney says that they have quite a few bones but are of fine flavor. There was a commercial fishery for them years ago & restaurants featured them. I'm thinkin' smoked would be as good as Whitefish, smoked and canned would break down the bones.....
