It's still very early. I went out this morning to scout the river and make sure my usual fishing holes are still fishable and not filled with new snags. I didn't expect to see any fish, much less catch any. Saw 1 fish roll at the boat launch but it was probably just a bull trout or cutthroat. Didn't see anything else after that except for alot baby salmon making their way out to sea, which was good to see. No bites on jigs or spoons. We are probably 2-3 weeks away from decent fishing in the river.
