I was targeting more than just bluegill. We got to the lake around 7:00 am caught 7 cutthroats, 1 rainbow trout, 5 perch, and 9 bluegills. it was a very cloudy day with some gentle rain. We also tried for some Bass they were jumping but not biting too hard. could not land a Bass to save our lives. but we caught lots of other fish and had a really great time. We got home and filleted each one. and eat them all. very tasty. I fish this lake all the time and never have any trouble landing any fish except in the colder months. we were the only boat on the water, a few shore fisher people. did not look like they were catching any fish but we sure did well.
