Out to Clear today. Wa. Temp 72-73. Vis 12'-14'. Calm then Windy then Calm then Windy. Caught about 20 smallies, all little guys 8-11 inches. All the places I fished I caught multiple bass fishing in 20' to 35' of water. Everything caught on a dropshot. Threw a lot of crankbaits and swimbaits but nothing. One day I'm gonna catch one on that Keitech. Pulled up to one spot and caught another dink, next cast, this one's a lot bigger. 3 lb. 13 oz. SMALLIE out of 32' of water. Great fight and that made my day. Weighed it and got the camera out and the batteries were dead, I just put them in 3 weeks ago. I gotta get a new camera. After releasing it and trolling back up the 100 yards I drifted down, caught an 11 incher. At least I stayed busy with the little guys.

Yup, little ones today. Dropshot only. On the camera I have to open the battery door or they'll drain pretty much overnight. Then the batteries would drain in a week or 2 at most, so I bought new batteries and they last much longer. I do use rechargeable batteries. I bought the camera in Jan. or Feb. of '01. Still takes great pictures. :-)

I think you're right. Use the rechargable's . I like the camera, takes good pic's. and is small, easy to carry.

Nice! That's been my experience the few times I fished there. A lot of smaller ones with a couple nice ones mixed in. The biggest I caught was only about 2 lbs but they're nice, strong little fighters!
