At my house it was 32 degrees so I chose to wait a bit before going to the lake. I got there about 8:30am started the big motor. I went up and down the lake until it was warmed up good then turned it off to deploy the electric and found I had left the remote for it in the vehicle so I had to go back and get it. Consequently I started fishing at 9:30 finishing at 11:30.
I Trolled 1.1 to 1.6 mph, in 30-80 feet of water 10-40 foot on the downriggers. I trolled north to south zigzagging. Water temperature was 63 degrees. One fish and one bite. Tried several combinations but the new Green dragon/ Watermelon dodger and Pink Splatter dodger and Mini Pink Squiddy Thang had follows or bite.
I actually came to see what was under the water and out of the 5 lakes I have fished this year it has the least amount of fish to view.

Hi Toni,

A few observations about this lake. I have not fished it since June and I too found very few fish in the lake. When I used my Water Wolf, I saw only one Kokanee over several trips, a major disappointment since that lake was a favorite of mine for Kokanee. Although I had luck with the trout, I was after the kokanee. I am not sure what has happened to the lake, but we have seen this coming since last fall when the kokanee numbers were very low. As for the rope, I too saw something on the camera (and caught up on something) in the southeast side of the lake near one of the buoys. I hope someone figures out what has happened to the fish and the fishing gets back to where it was just a few short years ago.
