Well we decided to go try Conconully, we hadn't been there in a long time. We are bass fisherman and knew that there use to be huge largemouths lurking in the lake. Apperentally no one has caught any of the big ones for a couple of years. We caught about 50 bass let them all go. The fish were averaging 7 in. but this little largemouths were fat an 8 in. I caught wieghed close to a pound. They were scrappy to I'd never seen bass that size fight that hard. I've caught 14 in. bass that didn't fight that hard. This little bass were healthy. There most be bigger spawning size bass somewhere though otherwise there wouldn't be any little ones. I caught most of my bass fishing a black Zoom trick worm weightless on the weed edges.
