A beautiful day to get out on Lake Stevens. Launched from the DFW launch across from the Post Office and headed out along the docks to the left of the launch. Fished those docks all the way to the back of the cove. Pretty productive day, started out fast with three fish in the first hour and then things slowed down for the rest of the day. Caught about a 3 and a half pounder and that was my best fish of the day. Finished it off with one more fish on the way back. The fish were hitting on a drop shotted senko. All in all I caught 5 smallies and saw two bald eagles so I call that a good day. Gave this day a three because I’ve had other days out on Stevens when the bite was absolutely ridiculous.
