What a great morning of tiger hunting today. We were fishing with jerk baits, glide baits and bucktails . We hooked three landed two and had a couple other follows!! Only bummer was the two we got were the smallest of the ones we saw. This entire week has been pretty good. I went with my 12 year old after work and she got one, picked up a couple fishing solo and also got some nice smallies dragging plastics around behind the boat while fishing Muskies.

Great report. I have always wanted to fish Tapps and I don't live that far away. How is the lake level down there?

It been up for a month or two and Cascade is supposed to leave it at full pool for the next four years to built the fish bypass around mud mountain dam.

Nice report. I don't know much about muskies, is it pretty much a "catch and release" fishery or can you eat them? Do they taste good?

It’s pretty much all catch and release. It is leagal to keep one over 50” but none of the guys that are really into musky fishing would keep one. Usually catch, photo and release. My biggest is 49” if I ever get one over 50 I would take a picture, release it and get a fiberglass replica
