9/4/2018 7:07:31 PMI don't know what you do but you sure do it right, I was further up river past bouy 5 and didn't near as well as you. Seemed like the big blades that were lime green, yellow and orange were about the only ones we could make work. Is the "Red Barn" that building at the south end of Porcupine Bay? Well done!

Also I fish up river near buoy 5 a lot so you have been in the right place but I can say that the troll bite up there was very slow last weekend. The jig bite was much better if you were near a weed bed that has deep water close by, lets say 25' would probably be a good guess for a depth to target.

9/15/2018 3:12:04 PMCCT Mark: I come to you (and others) hat in hand; obviously I'm a man with no more pride. I've been patiently hammering the water over on the Spokane Arm and up toward Hunter trying my best to recapture my walleye mojo. Two trips. The best I can do is a piddling few 12" 'eyes and a damned SUCKER that excreted some sort liquid on me....and I'm not going to throw out there what I think it was! Probably enough for me to say that he may have been quite excited just prior to chomping down on the hook.
My wife is now questioning all about me that is sacred including my abilities to bring in fish at Roosevelt. Hell, I'm not sure I can perform my marital obligations any longer...you guys know what I mean. Sad situation.
Anyway, I've finagled another trip to Roosevelt next week arriving on Monday and I have three days to produce. After studying the last posts, I've concluded that my best shot is up the Arm probably in Porcupine and maybe down as far was the graveyard. 30 to 40 FOW dragging a bottom bouncer with smile blades in green, blue, red and possibly some mixed colors. 1.1 to 1.5 mph. Probably locate the weed beds and see if I can skirt along the edges to draw then out.
Where am I going wrong here? Any suggestions other than take up sucker fishing?
