Spent the morning below the 522 bridge at Lord Hill in Monroe. There was a lot of surface activity, Silvers jumping everywhere but no one was hooking up. I tried the usual, dick nite, Blue Fox and even drifted a corky with a little yarn and scent. The river has dropped back to its summer low and after the bump last week as well as the nets it looks like we have a ton of fish moving thru fast. Maybe too fast to pay attention to my offerings. I was using 6 lb leader around 40 inches and 10 lb on the main line. I think I will try some bait up by Cadman tomorrow maybe plunk the seam off of Tualco. Tight lines everyone. Sky

Great report! Same story today down on the Green. Probably saw over 200 jump this morning but none were biting...I tossed the kitchen sink at them and two other guys fished eggs. The one guy with eggs had a couple take downs in the bottom end of the hole but nothing brought to the bank.
