My husband a friend and I went out to silver lake sunday evening we arrived at about 6:30 mabe a bit later (drove from tacoma) Pat the hotel owner told us fish were bitting but hadnt heard much about the crappie. It was pretty slow when we were up a month ago. She came out to se how we were doing just before closing we had pretty close to a half a bucket. By the time we left it was close to full Most were small but we had a lot of nice size ones all and all we had a good night was worth the drive ( this time) we were using crappie jigs and nibbles I caught plenty with nothing on jig too a friend even caught some tipping jig with worm.
