I say average day but we didn't put one in the boat this trip. We brought a nice medium sized wild one to the side of the boat where it got off before we got to net it (but if it was I keeper I would have blown it with the net anyway I think). All 3 of us had several good take downs and short struggles but then they got off. Swam at the boat then up each time like they knew how to get rid of a barbless hook. HaHa, got to work on my technique. Lots of follows until they could see the boat. Enough action to keep it interesting, even in a soaking rain. Three weeks in a row now with plenty of fish activity.
